In this chapter, the findings from both the survey and the interviews are described. Based on these results, more insight is obtained from the ideas of stakeholders (physicians, manufacturers of RCMI’s security experts, and patients) on the safety and possible risks of RCMI’s. The first section provides a brief description of the data collection. In the second and third sections, the results will be linked to the theory. First, we will look at the three stages of trust. Based on these findings more insight can be obtained about the ways that patients put trust in others, and these findings can be connected to the ideas patients have regarding the risks of RCMI’s. Then, in the third section, we will look at reflexive modernization. How do people deal with the increasing complexity of risks related to RCMI’s? What is the basis of the ideas respondents have on RCMI’s?
